Studio Prats didn't start as an agency. It started with a founder who had to build everything himself — and learned, the hard way, what it really takes to turn an idea into a working product.
The beginning
It started with a company of his own
Ivan Prats, founder of Studio Prats, is a Physics Engineer born in Barcelona. At 20 years old he started his first company with two colleagues: an eyewear retail business.
What he owned
Technology was his to build
While his colleagues took care of marketing and operations, Ivan took charge of technology and digital presence — maintaining and improving the e-commerce on Shopify, and developing a custom ERP to handle the day-to-day operations.
Everything, at once
One company, every discipline
Starting his own company fast-tracked him through every area of launching a product. He was in charge of it all:
- Full-stack development
- UX & UI design
- Infrastructure & deployment
- Basic legality & taxes
- Cybersecurity
There he discovered that, rather than coding alone, his real passion wassolving business problems through technology
The next chapter
Seven years, €2M, and a new direction
Seven years and €2M in sales later, he exited the company to follow a path that would teach him more about how tech companies are built.
Five years ago he began offering his services as a freelancer, creating new tech products and e-commerces. Studio Prats was born shortly after — a brand built to take care of all of your digital needs.
